One credit generates one deck, whether that deck holds 5 cards or 30. Some worked examples:
Trying it out
5 free credits every 30 days, up to 15 cards per deck
75 cards for free
A 300-word exam list
30 cards per deck, so 300 words is 10 decks
10 credits
A chapter a week for a term
One deck per chapter, 5 to 30 cards each
12 credits for 12 weeks
The same deck on two apps
One generation per platform, so Anki and Quizlet is two runs
2 credits

The short version, so you do not have to open the full terms to find it. Which failures return a credit on their own, and which need an email, is spelled out on the support page.
Pricing FAQ
Everything you need to know about our pricing and plans.
Each credit generates one deck. A deck can hold between 5 and 30 cards, and it costs the same single credit either way. Credits never expire.
Any pack unlocks every premium feature permanently: import-ready files (.apkg, .mochi, CSV, TSV, TXT and MD), up to 30 cards per deck, image to flashcards, custom fields and tags, editing cards before export, publishing to the public gallery and the premium guides. The packs differ only in how many credits you get, so the smallest one unlocks exactly as much as the largest.
No. Credits you buy stay in your account until you use them, with no subscription and no expiry date, so a pack you buy today still works a year from now. (Free credits work differently: instead of expiring, they refill to a set amount on a schedule, see "Do the free credits renew?" below.)
We refund the credit. Getting a file that opens on the first try is the whole point of the product, so if an export will not import into Quizlet, Anki, Mochi or Brainscape, write to support@nextlang.co and we will put the credit back.
We accept major credit and debit cards (processed securely by Stripe). Depending on your region, Apple Pay or Google Pay may also be available.
Yes, and there is nothing to sign up for or cancel. Every account starts with 5 free credits the moment you sign in with Google, no credit card required, so you can generate a real deck before deciding whether to buy more.
Yes. Your free balance refills to 5 credits every 30 days, counted from your last renewal rather than a fixed calendar date. It refills to that number rather than adding to what is left, so unused free credits never stack up while you are away. Credits you buy are separate and never expire.
Yes. Credits are not tied to a platform: your 5 free credits, refilled every 30 days, work on Quizlet, Anki, Mochi and Brainscape alike. What your first purchase unlocks is the import-ready file for whichever platform you use, plus the larger deck size and the other premium features.
Start with 5 free credits, refilled every 30 days. No card, and credits you buy never expire.
