How decks get here
Most decks here started as someone's prompt. A user described what they wanted to learn, the generator turned it into flashcards, and they chose to publish the result so other people learning the same pair could use it. Nothing is published automatically, and nothing is edited by us afterwards.
Decks marked Official are the exception. We write those ourselves, read them before they go live and fix them in place when something is wrong, the same way the phrasebook packs work.
For everything else, that is the trade. You get decks aimed at real situations rather than textbook chapters, built by people learning the same language you are. You also get their judgement calls, their register and their occasional mistake, which is why the notice above says to check anything you plan to memorise.
What you can do with a deck
Open any deck to read the cards on the page, no account needed. From there you can download it as a native Anki package or a Mochi file, both built in your browser, or copy the text into Quizlet or Brainscape. The export is derived from the deck on demand, so there is nothing to install and nothing stored on our side.
If nothing here matches what you are studying, the generator makes a deck from your own text in a few seconds, and the phrasebook hub has hand-checked packs for specific situations like the pharmacy or a job interview.
